- Vegapunk's 'Mother Flame' — the artificial-sun energy named @1090, which the WG/York used to erase Lulusia, and which Vegapunk's posthumous broadcast calls his 'first sin' while warning the world will 'sink into the sea' (@1113-1114) — is NOT an original Vegapunk invention but RECOVERED or reverse-engineered Void-Century ancient energy: the same class of 'lost ancient power source' Vegapunk openly admits his science cannot reproduce, the one that once drove the Iron Giant's strike on Mariejois (@1067). That external/ancient provenance is what 'doesn't add up' about York's theft timeline (@1116) and why Vegapunk frames harnessing it as a Promethean / Icarus 'sin' (stolen fire) rather than a proud creation. FORWARD-GUARD: the explicit on-page equation 'the Mother Flame and the Iron Giant's power source are the same ancient energy' is NOT made ≤1117 — that equivalence is the predictive content.
