• First appearance / named. Introduced by caption box as “Owl Library Librarian (Saul’s Assistant) ANGE” (p. 7). Saul reveals the village’s “we’ll protect you for life!!” welcome was a “one-man act” he rehearsed with his assistant Ange — a staged kindness Robin saw straight through.
• Sent off with Gerd by Saul to show the Straw Hats “wherever they wanna go” while Saul personally walks Robin to the Owl Library — “So long, Ange and Gerd!!” (p. 9). Guides the crew around the school with Ripley.
