Profile
One of Enel’s four vassals (Priests of Skypiea), captioned “Skypiea Vassal ‘Sky Rider’ Shura” (Ch. 248 p. 11). A goggled, helmeted sky-person who rides a giant bird/roc named Fuza (“Riding Roc Fuza,” p. 10) and fights with a burning spear. Administers his ordeal in his own domain within Upper Yard (the four-vassal domain rule, p. 13). Cruel and zealous — torments the captured Straw Hats at the Sacrificial Altar (“People like you make me sick”; “You are not prepared to make a sacrifice, and yet you intend to live?”; “Offer your life to the almighty”). Like Satori he appears to use Mantra (Usopp: “It’s like he can predict my every move!!” p. 13). Second of Enel’s four priests shown after Satori.

- Ambushes Wyper’s charging Shandians from the air on his Riding Roc Fuza; deploys the String Cloud trap — a territory blanketed in near-invisible, near-weightless iron strings — and taunts “Welcome to my String Challenge!!” / boasts a 3 percent survival rate (pp. 14-16). Also notes Upper Yard “underwent some changes in the night… this isn’t the same forest it once was” (p. 14).
- Wyper slips the web, discards shield and weapon, and destroys both Shura and Fuza with a point-blank Reject Dial blast (pp. 16-19) — making Shura the Survival Game’s first casualty (“One down… 80 remaining,” p. 19).

- Debuts attacking the captured Straw Hats and burning their ship at the Sacrificial Altar; explains the four-vassal domain rule and that the altar is a “free area” / fair game (pp. 13-14).
- Moves to kill (“STAB,” p. 15) but is intercepted by the Sky Knight Gan Fall, who parries his spear and declares “There’s only room for one Kami on this island!!” (pp. 16-18). Shura names the newcomer “GANFOR” (p. 17).

Etymology
シュラ / Shura — from 修羅 (shura), the Japanese Buddhist term derived from the Dharmic Asura (Ashura). Three layered senses: (1) the Asura realm of Buddhist reincarnation; (2) the asura themselves — warlike demigods of perpetual battle; (3) by extension, a scene of carnage / endless warmongering (cf. 修羅場 shuraba, “a scene of bloody conflict”). He is one node in Enel’s Priests’ Dharmic religious-naming motif — Satori (enlightenment), Gedatsu (解脱, moksha/release), Ohm (Om / ॐ, Oda SBS-confirmed), commander Yama (Enma/Yama, lord of the dead). The “war-demigod / carnage” reading is doubly fitting: he runs the violent String Ordeal (a 3%-survival-rate iron-web trap) and becomes the Survival Game’s first casualty Ch. 256. A thematic name, not a buried future-reveal. Confidence: high — Fandom trivia + Wiktionary 修羅 corroborate the Asura derivation; the priest naming-pattern is SBS-anchored through Ohm.
