Profile
A small, masked figure (skull-faced devil mask with horns) who carries a trident and a flute, Saldeath is the Captain of the Guard and Commander of the Bluggori — the blue demonic-beast jailers of Impel Down (Ch. 530 pp. 11-12). He directs the Bluggori, captures intruders with a sea-prism-stone-iron net, and references both the four roaming jailer beasts that patrol Level 4 and his dread of facing “the warden” (Magellan, p. 12).

- Names himself “Captain of the Guard, Commander of the Bluggori” and commands the Bluggori beast-jailers; the freed Sphinx tears the net open before he can hold the group (pp. 12-14).

Notes
- Etymology : JP サルデス (Sarudesu) is a pun on saru desu (猿です, “I’m a monkey”) + the English word death — the monkey layer mirrors his command of the Blugori (blue gorillas). See
