Summary

In Ivankov’s New Kama Land (Level 5.5 of Impel Down), Luffy finishes devouring days’ worth of food and bursts out “ALL BETTER!!” — having absorbed all the energy and overcome Magellan’s poison in only 20 hours, a feat the okama crowd calls a miracle. He thanks Emporio Ivankov (“Iva”) and Bon Clay, who stayed at his side sharing his pain and shouting for him to live. Refusing to rest, Luffy resolves to rescue Ace immediately, producing Ace’s vivre card, which points downward — Ace is below them. When Luffy explains he must save his brother, Ivankov reveals he is an officer in the Revolutionary Army led by “my comrade, Dragon,” the mastermind of revolutionaries worldwide; Luffy lets slip that Dragon is his father, stunning Iva. Recalling that Dragon always stares off toward the East Blue as if by homing instinct, Iva once asked Dragon whether he had family in the Eastern Sea (“Mind your own business, Iva”).
