- Kaku's unnamed Devil Fruit (eaten @0379/@0385) is a GIRAFFE Zoan — explicitly on-page as a giraffe-man hybrid; his attacks are named for the animal ('Giraffe Cannon', 'Giraffe Blast'). The fruit is still NOT named on-page (no 'Ushi Ushi no Mi' caption); only the giraffe animal-theme is shown.
- Kaku can freely extend and retract his neck and limbs like a 'pasta machine' (Zoro's term), reach a higher floor, and use the extra reach to perform a FOUR-sword style ('I too can perform the four-sword style')
- Zoro debuts a technique named on-page as 'Asura' — a 'Demon Aura Nine-Sword Style' that makes him APPEAR as a three-headed, six-armed demon-god (nine swords); Kaku explicitly states it is an illusion 'created through sheer will', not real extra limbs
- Asura turns Zoro's slicing attack into a fine mist — finisher named 'Silver Mist' (Asura ... Silver Mist), which appears to fell Kaku
- Kaku's strongest Tempest Kick (Rankyaku) is named 'Sky Slicer', a wide slicing wind he claims can cut through the tower

Summary
At the Tower of Law, Zoro fights CP9’s Kaku, who has fully embraced his giraffe-Zoan form. Kaku demonstrates the “hidden strength of the wild beast known as the giraffe,” extending and retracting his neck and limbs at will (Zoro likens his body to a “pasta machine”) and firing animal-named blasts (“Giraffe Cannon,” “Giraffe Blast”). Kaku reasons that controlling the length of his neck and limbs lets him use swords “to full effect,” and reveals he can wield a FOUR-sword style. Zoro, pressed by the giraffe’s reach and Rokushiki, escalates: he is briefly seen as a “demon-god with three heads and six arms,” and finally unleashes his nine-sword technique, Asura — a Demon Aura created “through sheer will” (Kaku confirms it is an illusion, not real limbs). As Kaku winds up his strongest Tempest Kick, “Sky Slicer,” Zoro’s Asura turns his slicing attack into a fine mist — “Silver Mist” — which strikes Kaku down. The chapter ends mid-clash on the Asura finisher.
New reveals

- Kaku can extend/retract his neck and limbs at will (a “pasta machine”), jump to a higher floor by stretching, and use the extra reach for a four-sword style.
- Zoro debuts Asura — a “Demon Aura Nine-Sword Style” that makes him appear as a three-headed, six-armed demon-god wielding nine swords; explicitly an illusion of will, not real extra limbs.
- Asura finisher named “Silver Mist” — turns the slicing attack into mist; appears to fell Kaku.
- Kaku’s strongest Tempest Kick (Rankyaku) named “Sky Slicer.”

Notable panels
- Page 1 — Decorative chapter title-page splash (one-off, NOT the Baroque Works serial, which ended Ch. 413): a giant long-trunked bear at “BEAR GARDEN” with a man sketching it from a ladder and a smaller bear holding a parasol — thematically echoes the giraffe’s long neck. (Defer attribution to cover-tracker.)
- Page 2 — Kaku in giraffe form (“DOOM!!”); editor’s note: “Text inside circle says ‘wolf’” (Kaku’s “Mountain Wind” / giraffe iconography); “the hidden strength of the wild beast known as the giraffe.”
- Page 3 — “Giraffe Cannon… TA-DAH!” and “Giraffe Blast!!!”; Zoro’s “Extreme Nose Pistol!!” counter.
- Page 5 — Zoro’s “Spinning White Blade”; Kaku stretch-dodges; “You’re the one who’s weak.”
- Page 6 — “BWOOP!!” giraffe-cannon transformation; Zoro calls Kaku’s body a “pasta machine”; Kaku: “I pulled my neck in so far, my legs grew!”
- Page 9–10 — Kaku reasons that controlling neck/limb length lets him “use swords to full effect” and reveals the four-sword style.
- Page 11 — “Three-Sword Style… Leopard… Balls!!!” (Zoro spinning attack).
- Page 16 — Kaku: Zoro “looked like a demon-god with three heads and six arms… to cut you in half?!!”; Kaku announces “Sky Slicer” (strongest Tempest Kick).

- Page 18–19 — “Asura… Silver Mist!!!!” — slicing attack becomes mist; Kaku struck (“THWAK!!!”); “Pain and suffering! That is the path that lies before you!”
- Page 20 — SBS “Question Corner” page (Vol-relevant SBS; Wanze plastic-surgery shot Q, and Oda on why volumes have 10–11 chapters).
Open questions raised
- Does Asura’s “Silver Mist” finish Kaku, or does the giraffe-Zoan’s Iron Body endurance let him continue? (Cliffhanger on the Asura strike.)
- What exactly is Asura — pure illusion (“sheer will”), or a precursor to a deeper power? (Kaku insists it is visions, not real limbs.)
- Title page: the “BEAR GARDEN” splash (page 1) is a one-off decorative title page (the Baroque Works “Ms. Golden Week’s Big Plan” serial concluded Ch. 413); defer any serial attribution to cover-tracker.
