Summary
On the Skull Dome rooftop, the aftershock of Luffy’s giant Conqueror’s-Haki punch is still rolling through the dragon-form Kaido — but Luffy himself collapses, gasping. Trafalgar Law explains the price: a “side effect of that cannonball-like technique” that locks Luffy out of Haki for about ten minutes. Big Mom mocks the limit (“at your limit already?!”) and unleashes “Happy Mother’s… Blaze!!!” through her flame-homie Prometheus; Eustass Kid answers with “Counter Shock!!!” and orders Killer to grab Luffy and keep up the pressure on Kaido. Kaido whips up a “Dragon Twister” and lunges to eat the unconscious Luffy — until Zoro leaps in with “Black Rope Dragon Twister” (Three-Sword Style) and cuts the dragon, slicing his scales and drawing blood. Stunned onlookers shout “He actually cut Kaido!!”; Kaido recognizes the wound and the blade — Oden’s sword Enma, “the source of that strange Haki” — and roars back with “Dragon Twister: Demolition Breath!!!!” Down below on the Live Floor, rubble rains and the war rages. Cut to two agents of Cipher Pol “Aigis Zero” (CP0), who watch the battle on Onigashima while playing a game of Reversi, narrating the raid in pieces and numbers: the Beasts side numbers over 30,000, the infiltrators ~5,400, the samurai have already lost ~3,000 — and the World Government’s quiet hope is that the two Emperors and the new generation wear each other down (“the outcome of this battle is not much in doubt”). The chapter closes back on the rooftop: the supernovas note Kaido’s shifting “man-beast form,” and Kaido and Big Mom — both delighting in the fight — laugh together. “This is fun!!”
New reveals
- Luffy’s big technique has a ten-minute Haki lockout. Law: “No, it’s a side effect of that cannonball-like technique!! He won’t be able to use Haki for about ten minutes!!” Luffy crumples, exhausted (pp. 5–6). Kid: “Straw Hat?! When did he get you?!”
- Zoro cuts Kaido. With “Black Rope Dragon Twister” (Three-Sword Style, using Enma) Zoro cleaves the dragon’s scales and draws blood (pp. 10–11). Witnesses: “He cut the scales!!!” / “He actually cut Kaido!!” / “That must be Oden’s sword!!” Kaido: “Ahhh, that hurts! I see…” / “Wo ro ro ro ro!! You dare challenge me to a Dragon Twister?!”
- Enma is named as the source of the “strange Haki.” As Zoro readies the cut, the rooftop crowd asks “Is that katana the source of that strange Haki?!” (p. 10) — Oden’s blade publicly recognized as the channel for Zoro’s wounding power.
- CP0 (“Aigis Zero”) is embedded on Onigashima, narrating the raid as a board game (the chapter’s title motif). Two agents — an older cigar-smoking man and a partner — track casualty counts and strategy and openly want the pirates and the Emperors to thin each other out (pp. 13–16).
- CP0 battle math: Beasts side “over 30,000” with “400 already down”; “enemy infiltrators number 5,400” who have “lost 3,000”; a scoreboard reads 27,000 vs 5,000. CP0: “It is an all-out battle!!!” / “If Kaido’s powerful officers are left to their own devices… each will easily eliminate 100 soldiers at a time.”
- CP0 frames the stakes: with Doflamingo “out of the picture,” this is “a battle for revenge 20 years in the making”; if “two of the Four Emperors should fall… there would be no telling what might happen to the world next” (p. 14).
- Kaido’s “man-beast form.” The chapter ends with the supernovas noticing Kaido’s changed shape (“His man-beast form?” / “Why does he look like that?”) — Kaido shifting toward his hybrid form, with both Emperors laughing, energized by the fight (p. 17).

Open questions raised
- Now that Enma can reopen the dragon’s hide, how far can Zoro push the wound — and what does mastering Oden’s blade cost him?
- What is Kaido’s “man-beast” (hybrid) form, and what does it change about the rooftop fight?
- Who exactly are the CP0 agents on Onigashima, and what will the World Government do once two Emperors are pinned on one island?
- With Luffy Haki-locked for ten minutes, can the Worst-Generation alliance hold the line against both Emperors?
