• chekhov-explicit (already fired elsewhere) — every cataclysm-class instrument is canonically placed: Pluton under Wano (Ch. 1053, seeded Ch. 399), Poseidon a living mermaid (Ch. 649), the Uranus-class weapon already operated by the WG (Ch. 1115-Ch. 1116). A weapon-console at Laugh Tale would orphan three loaded guns.
• dialogue-tell — Roger explicitly disclaims wanting the Ancient Weapon (Ch. 967 p.10); the Roger crew leaves the site with truth and laughter, and moves no weapon, raises no land.
• negative-space — every machinery-claim about the prize is in-world hearsay (Ch. 1124 p.12, Ch. 1125 pp.16-17), never author-level narration; the corpus’s most disciplined withholding (Ch. 1060) guards a meaning, not a lever.
