The crew of Vander Decken IX, the cursed pirate obsessed with Princess Shirahoshi. The crew name “Flying Pirates” is established at Ch. 613; its members had been shown earlier on the deep-sea descent as the ghost-ship crew aboard the Flying Dutchman (Ch. 606–Ch. 607). Their captain wields the “Mark-Mark curse” (Mato Mato no Mi) and refuses skin contact — a tell tied to his marking power.
