Summary

The civil war at Alubarna rages on even after Pell’s clock-tower sacrifice destroyed Baroque Works’ mass-casualty cannonball in the sky — and the city now murmurs that “the bird guy” saved the kingdom (pp. 4-5), even as the two armies refuse to stop killing each other. Narrative captions frame the moment as a historical pivot — “Whenever events like these occur, history is about to be made!” / “Pay close attention to what becomes of this country.” (p. 5) — re-keying Smoker’s Ch. 0179 historical-witness doctrine to nation-scale. Vivi screams “STOP FIGHTING!!!” across the battlefield (pp. 6-7) but her voice is swallowed by the roar of the war; she cannot be heard, setting up the need for an attention-arresting spectacle. Cross-cut to the underground royal tomb, the Luffy vs. Crocodile climax reaches its end: Luffy, bloodied and envenomed, will not stay down, and Crocodile — incredulous — names the venom for the first time: “Where is this runt finding such strength?! The scorpion poison should have taken effect by now!!” (p. 10). Crocodile counters with Sables: Pesado (heavy sand) to bury Luffy with the tomb (pp. 12-15), but Luffy spins up a colossal water-charged rotation and lands the finisher — Gum-Gum… Desert… Storm… Spada!!! (pp. 14-19) — a multi-fist torrent that hammers Crocodile and launches him straight up, erupting out of the underground chamber and bursting through Alubarna’s surface in a geyser of rubble (pp. 18-19). The chapter title (I Will Defeat You) lands as Luffy’s declaration mid-blow (p. 11).

• The hook venom is “scorpion poison.” Crocodile names the poison delivered by his hook (established Ch. 0205) for the first time as scorpion poison, and is baffled it has not yet killed Luffy: “The scorpion poison should have taken effect by now!!” (p. 10). Recasts the gold hook’s hidden venom (Ch. 0205) with a specific scorpion-toxin identity.
• Gum-Gum Storm finisher. Luffy delivers the decisive combo — “Gum-Gum… Desert… Storm… Spada!!!” (pp. 14-19) — a rapid multi-fist barrage charged with the swallowed-water payload, the resolution of the Water Luffy combat-grammar (Ch. 0200). It blasts Crocodile up and out of the underground tomb through the city surface.
• Pell’s sacrifice has registered. The Alubarna crowd recognizes that “the bird guy” saved the kingdom from the explosion (pp. 4-5) — the off-page clock-tower self-sacrifice has become public knowledge, even as the war continues.
• The war won’t stop on its own. Vivi’s “STOP FIGHTING!!!” (pp. 6-7) is drowned out by the battle — the chapter operationally establishes that nothing short of a kingdom-scale spectacle can arrest both armies, the premise of her destroy-the-palace plan.
• Enemy tally of the Strawhats. Baroque Works agents note Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentine were defeated and that “Luffy” is an unknown name (p. 10) — the crew’s arc-impact is being measured by the enemy org.
