The facility’s boss is kept off-panel (“the Master”), but two tells leak his identity: his men marvel that he can “produce laser technology” thought unique to Vegapunk’s Pacifistas (p. 12), and his centaur patrols carry baby Den Den Mushi branded “CC” (p. 17). Negative-space (the unseen master) plus prop-tell (the “CC” snail and the Pacifista-grade lasers) seed a Vegapunk-rival scientist operating an illegal lab and child-experiment program on a World-Government-forbidden island.
