Why this matters
Parallel-arc-structure is Oda’s strongest predictive technique: when two flashbacks five chapters apart give the same kill-condition for the same kind of victim (a beloved figure turned monster by an external curse/control), the repetition is a rule being taught. It predicts that future controlled/cursed monsters (and perhaps the Holy Knights’ immortality itself) will fall to massed Conqueror’s Haki — and frames “freeing by killing” as a tragedy engine for the Final Saga.
