Summary

The Birdcage is now actively contracting on every side, herding the citizens of Dressrosa toward the city center; Doflamingo gloats that the cage will fold up “like an umbrella” and slice through everything in the country within about one hour, sparing no one (page 5). At the Royal Palace plateau, Luffy and a downed Trafalgar Law press their joint assault: Law lands his Gamma Knife inside an enormous ROOM — a strike that ruptures Doflamingo’s organs without external wounds and “cuts down on” Law’s own lifespan — after first piercing a string body-double Doflamingo had swapped in (pages 8–12). Luffy follows with Jet Stamp, and when Trebol tries to intervene Luffy blasts him away (“Stay out of this!!!”, page 16). Law presses his old grudge over Corazon; Doflamingo answers that he is glad he killed his brother, and Law unloads a Counter-Shock. But Doflamingo survives by reconstructing his ruptured organs with his own strings beneath his skin (“I can perform emergency care on MYSELF”), then whips Law down with his strings — leaving a battered Luffy to charge in alone.
