Chapter 271: Pirate Zolo vs. Vassal Ohm

Summary

Inside the giant snake’s belly, Luffy realizes he, Nami and the Shandian girl Aisa were all swallowed whole (p. 2-4); the snake moans wildly (“Jula lala”) as Wyper, outside, deliberately provokes it — the snake’s distress is part of his plan (p. 4-6). On the ruins, Wyper opens fire with a bazooka and the priest Ohm intercepts with his iron-cloud sword “Eisen Whip” (p. 8-10). The duel pivots when Zoro, who had been swallowed and is now loose among the ruins, engages Ohm: though Ohm tracks opponents by Mantra and can strike a target he cannot see, Zoro reveals he can do the same — “I can tell exactly where you are… from your Mantra!!” (p. 14). Zoro and Ohm trade techniques — Ohm’s shapeshifting iron-cloud (Eisen Whip / Eisen Back / Eisen Fan / Eisen Wave) against Zoro’s Three-Sword Style (Hawk Wave, Pound Phoenix). Throughout, Enel narrates the shrinking survivor count of his survival game. The chapter ends mid-duel as Zoro launches “108 Pound Phoenix” and Ohm deflects it with a wall of iron cloud (p. 18-20).
