The undercity is revealed as a vast scrap-heap trade-port and factory where the dumped fighters land. Two explicit tells point to a deeper, concealed level: Doflamingo’s men declare “there must be more secrets underground with a hidden structure this size… keep searching” (p. 10), and the deposed King Riku warns of “an even deeper darkness beneath this… a land full of contradictions” (p. 13). Paired with the kings’ statement that they “do not know where those weapons are manufactured or kept” (p. 7), this seeds a concealed lower level — the hidden weapons/SMILE factory — beneath the visible undercity.

Ch. 743 — “everything has a core”; the ring sinks INTO the underground (fold: “Everything Has a Core - Dressrosas Hidden Mechanism”)

The 0743 reader’s standalone “Everything Has a Core - Dressrosas Hidden Mechanism” seed is folded here . Mid-fight with Jesus Burgess, “Lucy” (Sabo) states the principle aloud: “There is a core at the heart of everything.” / “So it seems that was the trick behind this country, Rebecca!!” / “That’s right… even this ring has a core” (p. 17), then strikes the ring’s core and sinks the entire coliseum floor into the underground (pp. 18–19) before diving down “to win.” The combat principle, demonstrated on the arena, doubles as a country-scale tell: Dressrosa rests on a hidden central mechanism — and the colosseum ring literally drops into the buried world where the defeated are dumped, physically joining the arena to the concealed underground operation.
