Kings Miracle Royal-Rain Doctrine

The seed
Why it matters
The King’s Miracle is the central engineered misperception that justified the civil war in the public mind. Crocodile’s plot relies on a statistical anomaly (Alubarna-only-rain) being interpreted morally (the king is selfish). Pre-loads the saga’s anomaly-becomes-frame-up register and Crocodile’s broader manipulate-public-perception doctrine.
The Vivi name-give King’s Miracle is the people’s pre-Incident framing — they originally thought the anomaly was divine favor. Post-Incident, the same anomaly becomes evidence of royal theft. Same data, opposite interpretation, depending on whether the Dance Powder Incident is allowed to anchor the meaning. This is Oda’s first on-page demonstration of the political weaponization of statistical anomaly via narrative re-framing.
Forward-canon: pre-loads Doflamingo’s Dressrosa-manipulation register (the public’s perception of King Riku weaponized into mob-violence), Kaido-Orochi’s Wano-narrative-control (Oden re-framed as a fool).
