Why this family matters (plot weight)
The lineage reveal confirms Oars left descendants and that his “Continent Puller” legend is widely known. Little Oars Jr. is explicitly named “a descendant of Oars the Continent Puller” when he charges the Marineford bay for Ace (Ch. 554, p. 14). Both are noted as unusually large even among giants (“our giants are dwarfs next to him!”).
