Profile
A band of impostors at the Sabaody Archipelago posing as the famous Straw Hat Pirates to recruit a private army during the two-year gap. The fake Luffy claims a ฿400,000,000 bounty and orders the roughly one hundred newly recruited pirates to muster at Grove 46; the impostor band itself works out of Grove 47, bullying passersby to flaunt the stolen reputation (pp. 4-5, 12-14). Their public bullying gets several bystanders flattened by a passing stranger (pp. 5-7), and the Marines, taking them for the genuine crew, mobilize a blockade (p. 14). The real identities of the leadership are not revealed this chapter.

Recruited super-rookies (Grove 46 muster): among the ~100 pirates who answered the fake recruitment was the super-rookie Albion (฿92,000,000 bounty) — see Ch. 600 — alongside Caribou and “Lip Service” Doughty (named at the @0601 collapse). Notable events
- Ch. 599 — the impostor crew recruits ~100 pirates to gather at Grove 46; bullies bystanders at Grove 47 (several are defeated by a passing stranger); the Marines mobilize a blockade believing them to be the real Straw Hats.
- Ch. 601 — the fraud collapses at Grove 46. The Navy and a Pacifista squad under Sentomaru attack the gathered fleet; among the recruits, Caribou (of the Caribou Pirates) opens fire and the 88M rookie “Lip Service” Doughty is cut down by a Pacifista beam. Sentomaru decks the fake captain — “You’re not Straw Hat, you piece of trash!!” — and PX-5 names him “Triple-Tongued Demalo Black, bounty 26 million.” The recruits panic and scatter; the operation is over (
status→ disbanded). The real Luffy is on the island and one-shots a Pacifista nearby (pp. 3-14).
