- NHC10 (エヌエイチシーテン Enu-Eichi-Shī Ten). A coded chemistry reference: the letters reversed spell part of methamphetamine's formula, C10H15N (i.e. C10·H·N) — Oda labels Caesar's addictive 'candy' stimulant with a thin cipher for crystal meth, matching the on-page reveal that the drug is an illegal addictive stimulant. The literal molecule 'NHC10' is chemically impossible (it would dissociate even at absolute zero), confirming the string is a deliberate code, not real chemistry.

What we know
- Ch. 665: NHC10 is a powerful pharmaceutical stimulant. Its legitimate purpose is to treat illness, but it is dangerously addictive; by law only select doctors in select countries may handle it. Chopper knows it because “Doctorine [Dr. Kureha] had some” (p. 8).
- Ch. 665: On Punk Hazard, Caesar Clown disguises NHC10 as the “candy” he feeds the captive children — it “looks cool and tastes good,” “puffs out smoke all over,” and “always makes [them] feel happy” (p. 6).
- Ch. 665: The candy addicts the children so that withdrawal symptoms (collapse, agony, violent rage) keep them docile and unwilling to escape (pp. 8–9). Chopper detects trace amounts in their bodies, exposing the abduction-and-experimentation operation.
