The claim
At the God Valley hand-off, the infant St. Maffey seized was Shamrock — the twin the Holy Land kept and raised inside Mariejois — while the twin who left the island by sea and grew up aboard the Roger Pirates was Shanks. A future chapter or SBS column will caption or state that allocation outright.

The claim

Reasoning

This is the residue the @1192 re-score of Shanks Has a Figarland Twin conceded and dropped out of sub-claim SC3. The birth, the venue and the separation are all depicted; the allocation is not. Ch. 1161 pp.5-6 shows a repentant rescuer fleeing with Garling’s kidnapped babies, a dying sailor begging for “those babies” in the plural, and St. Maffey seizing exactly one — “There. Got him… Garling has a kid…? Who’d have thunk it?” — while the second infant leaves the frame unremarked and uncaptioned. The vault’s own foreshadowing note states the gap in the same terms: which twin Maffey carried off versus which the pirates took is not yet spelled out.

The prediction picks the allocation the surrounding beats favour rather than the one the theory assumed. The Knights of God spend years failing to reclaim a red-haired child at sea — Gaban recounts them coming “after us several times, trying to take you back,” shouting “He must be the son of our commander! Hand the boy over!! We know you have a child with red hair!!” (Ch. 1170 p.6) — which only makes sense if the twin the order already held was the other one. That order-held twin is Shamrock, the Commander’s acknowledged son and later Commander of the Holy Knights himself. Confidence is set at 0.7: the sub-claim carrying this material scored composite 0.78 on its depicted skeleton at the @1192 panel, discounted here because the hand-off itself is uncaptioned and because the sea leg still terminates in an unnamed infant — the God Valley treasure-chest baby the Roger crew crack open at Ch. 1166 p.9 is never named, never drawn with red hair, and never welded to the twins. A rival buccaneer twin-pair is loose in the same flashback (Ch. 1160 pp.3-13), and this note does not claim the chest baby is Shanks; it claims only which twin went which way.
