The claim
Usopp's Dressrosa lie that he is a descendant of Montblanc Noland will retroactively be confirmed as a literal bloodline — Oda will pay off the Usoland claim the way he pays off Usopp's other lies, revealing Usopp (or Yasopp) as a genuine Mont Blanc / Noland descendant.

The claim

Reasoning

This is the one live, falsifiable remnant of the refuted “Usopp is a descendant of Montblanc Noland” gauntlet verdict — the sub-claim (SC4) that could only be prediction-routed because it depends on unpublished canon. The engine behind it is real and reliable: Oda’s “liar who tells the truth” grammar has paid off Usopp’s lies before — the “8,000 men” bluff became the Grand Fleet, “brave warrior of the sea” became Sogeking, the self-appointed captaincy became the Usopp Pirates (Usopp The Liar Who Tells The Truth, seeded from the boy-who-cried-wolf introduction in Ch. 23). The Usoland/Noland-descendant claim is the biggest Usopp lie still formally unpaid.

Filed at low confidence (0.12) because every present anchor cuts against it: the engine makes self-descriptions and roles come true (hero, warrior, captain), never a heritage fact — the actual Dressrosa payoff was Usopp becoming a hero (“about to become your legendary hero!!!”, Ch. 741), not gaining a bloodline. The vault reserves “blood descendant of Noland” exclusively for Mont Blanc Cricket, and Usopp publicly disavows the descent on-page (“my name isn’t even Usoland!!”). This prediction bets against that weight, purely to give future scoring passes a named, greppable target if Oda ever does elevate the lie to literal lineage.

Resolution

Once new info arrives, update status, resolved_date, resolved_chapter and write a one-paragraph postmortem here describing what happened and what reasoning was right or wrong.

Supporting evidence

What would refute this

Be specific — the cleaner the falsifier, the more honest the prediction. This prediction is confirmed if a future chapter or databook does any of the following; it is refuted if the series ends (or explicitly closes Usopp’s arc) with none of them landing:

  • Yasopp introduced or captioned as “Montblanc Yasopp” (or any panel giving Usopp/Yasopp the surname “Mont Blanc”).
  • Usopp stated on-page or in an SBS column to carry Noland’s blood, mirroring Cricket’s “only a drop of his blood in me.”
  • Usopp added to the Mont Blanc roster as a confirmed member.
  • A Vivre Card / databook entry listing Noland as Usopp’s ancestor rather than a thematic parallel.
  • A late-arc beat retroactively vindicating the Usoland “descendant of Noland” claim as literal fact rather than role-fulfillment.

Scoring log

2026-07-25 — scored at frontier 1189 · still open · confidence unchanged (0.12). Refuter/confirmer-grep for Noland | Usoland | Mont Blanc | Montblanc | Yasopp across Ch. 1184Ch. 1189 returns zero hits. Usopp appears at Ch. 1189 (sensing Luffy’s Haki weaken from the surface) with no heritage content of any kind. Neither the confirming beats nor the refuting close-out has landed; the bet remains a series-end question.
