Why this matters

The Twenty Doctors are not just a medical retinue but Wapol’s survivability layer. Up to Ch. 136 the Tin Tyrant Pirates roster has been a captain (Wapol), two officers (Chess, Kuromarimo), and a mount (Robson) — a standard small-pirate-crew structure. Ch. 136 reveals a fifth roster category: a 20-surgeon medical squad whose function is to reassemble Wapol whenever he is killed. This is mechanically equivalent to an extra-life mechanic for Wapol — he can be killed and brought back. The on-page demonstration is that his decapitated head can be reattached (with hammer + steel plate + needle + scalpel — i.e., not even high-tech surgery; just construction-grade reassembly).

The Baku-Baku-as-self-reassembly capacity is the engine for the forward-canon fusion-body modes:
