Why this matters
This is a textbook Oda name-as-prophecy mechanism: a mythological name installed in backstory (Loki, since 0858) whose specific myth-beat — not just “trickster,” but “bound in chains, prophesied to break free and end the world at Ragnarök” — is later staged literally on the page. When a character’s name carries a known myth’s plot, the panel that puts him in chains and has others prophesy his world-ending release is the etymology paying off, not coincidence.
