“From the Shepherd family… …GRAM!! ” (p. 16). The blade’s own callout is p. 14 — “King of Hell, Three Sword Serpent! 103 Mercies… …DRAGON DAMNATION!! GRAM!!! ” — swung at Zoro THEY ARE THE 19 WEAPONS OF THOSE… …WHO BROUGHT THE WORLD TO HEEL!!! ”, p. 15). The wielding family is now named (Shepherd); the individual wielder is still un-named on-page (Sommers is carried reader-knowledge, not a 1189 caption). The “Dragon Damnation ” technique name keeps the Norse dragon-slayer register.

The status was flipped pending → confirmed on the grounds “Gram captioned + wielder named @1189, swung at Loki’s dragon .” Under VIZ, only the first of those three grounds survives: Gram is captioned and enumerated among the 19 founder-weapons, but no wielder is named , and the blade is swung at Zoro, not at a dragon . The predicted_reveal above — that Gram “will be turned against a dragon (Loki/Niddhoggr, or an enemy dragon) before the arc ends” — is therefore not yet paid off on-page ; only the dragon-slayer naming register (“Dragon Damnation”) is. Scalar left untouched for the scorer to re-adjudicate.
Why this matters
In the Volsunga cycle, Gram is the reforged sword with which Sigurd slays the dragon Fafnir — inside an arc whose prince IS a Norse dragon (Niddhoggr) and whose lore runs on Norse names (Ragnir/Ragnarök, Nibelheim/Niflheim, Thorheim, Gungnir). A named dragon-slayer prop on-page while a dragon dominates the battlefield is a loaded Chekhov blade. Watch: the wielder’s identity; whether Gram is ever aimed at Loki .
