Pattern - prop-tell - Worlds Greatest Swordsman

A recurring prop-tell pattern: a physical object on the page does the title-aspirant work before dialogue or splash names it. The Wado Ichimonji is the load-bearing artifact — it is Kuina’s blade, the promise-vessel for Zoro’s vow, the named-meito that Marines recognize in the field, and the in-mouth third sword that turns Santoryu from a stance into a system. The pattern generalizes: every prop in Zoro’s combat- kit encodes the title-aspirant logic before the title-aspirant logic is said aloud.

What the pattern predicts

• Every later named-sword Zoro acquires (Sandai Kitetsu, Yubashiri, Shusui, Enma) will be prop-tell-load-bearing — the blade will encode the next-stage of the swordsman-aspirant logic before any dialogue names it. Sandai Kitetsu (cursed-sword) tests luck- versus-curse; Enma (Oden’s blade) tests too-much-haki-output.
• The Wado will be the non-substitutable prop in the final- challenger composition — at the eventual Zoro-Mihawk rematch, Wado is the named blade Zoro must be carrying for the title to transfer.
• The Mihawk-chest-wound prop (delivered Ch. 51) will be re-quoted at the rematch — the scar is the prop that the title-transfer closes around. The don’t-touch-my-scars doctrine (Dont Touch My Scars Doctrine Seeded) is the early articulation of the scar-as-prop register.
