Status: pending · Technique: an inherited mission passed hand-to-hand, never extinguished — Ohara’s structural sibling of the Will of D.

The seed

The payoff

(Forward-canon — pending. Robin will later inherit exactly this will and carry it forward — the duty-of-history charge that becomes her reason to live. The full payoff resolves beyond this batch.)

Why this matters

The inherited-will motif (Olvia → Robin) is the Ohara arc’s local instance of Oda’s recurring will-inheritance structure — the same grammar that animates the Will of D. across the series. The scholars of Ohara die, but the will to recover the true history is passed forward to the lone survivor; the line plants the eventual reframing of Robin’s whole arc (from “I want to die” to “I want to live!!”) as the moment she accepts that inheritance. Cross-link Will of D, True History Ohara Was Killed For, Saul.
