Why this matters
The codename-pattern is the operational signature of Baroque Works’ agent-system, and it structurally pre-loads the Whisky-Peak-arc combat-grammar: each Straw Hat will be paired against a Baroque-Works pair as their assigned-eliminator. The pattern also encodes the organization’s hierarchy: lower Mr-Number = higher rank (Mr. 0 = Sir Crocodile, the head; Mr. 5-and-below are frontier agents; Mr. 1-4 are officer-tier). Ms-Day-of-Week partner-pairing is by calendar-rank correspondence — Wednesday is paired with Mr. 9, encoding a pairing-logic that’s only fully decoded in later chapters.
