Why this matters
- First on-page named technique-attack for Miss Goldenweek. Her Ch. 124 Color Trap power-debut named four colored paints (Betrayal Black, Laughter Yellow, Bullfight Red, Calming Green) + a fifth (Sorrowful Blue, named-only). But none of those are technique-attack-names — they’re paint-substrate-names. Crescendo Stone!! is the first attack-NAME Goldenweek calls out mid-combat.
- First on-page operationalization of the Artist of Gravity tagline. Mr. 3 introduced her in Ch. 120 p. 10 as “my assistant Ms. Golden Week, an artist of gravity.” The tagline-noun gravity did not directly match her Ch. 124 Color Trap (color-emotion-manipulation) reveal — but Ch. 125’s Crescendo Stone literally is a gravity-pressure attack. The tagline pays off operationally in Ch. 125 — Goldenweek IS an artist of gravity, and the Crescendo Stone is the literal-gravity sub-axis of her toolkit. Cross-link Miss Goldenweek Artist of Gravity Self-Tagline (Ch. 125 literal-gravity payoff evidence add).
- Distinct sub-axis from the Color Trap. The Color Trap (Ch. 124) operates via color-emotion-manipulation (paint = imposed-affect). The Crescendo Stone (Ch. 125) operates via paint-applied-gravity-pressure (paint = physical-weight-load). Goldenweek’s painted-art technique-suite is now dual-axis: emotional manipulation (Color Trap) + physical pressure (Crescendo Stone).
- Forward-canon connection. This is the black paint = gravity-crush sub-axis of her later Color Trap technique-suite. The Ch. 124 Betrayal Black paint (emotional betrayal-effect) and the Ch. 125 Crescendo Stone (gravity-effect) are forward-resolved as the same paint-color (black) with two operational modes (emotional, gravitational).
- Crescendo register pre-loads color-as-music sub-axis. Crescendo is a musical-notation term (accelerating volume). The weight-scale ticker is a literal crescendo (10 → 100 → 200 → 500). Pre-loads Goldenweek’s etymology-pun grammar that bridges color → emotion → music → gravity (the Golden Week holiday cluster encodes the colors-of-the-spring-festival-week — Greenery Day, Children’s Day, Constitution Memorial Day — and each day has a corresponding seasonal-color).
