The seed
The payoff
Why this matters
Cobra, mortally weary underground, presses his hand out and tells Koza “You feel it? … It will rain. Trust in the King, Koza. The fighting will end.” (pp. 10-11) as the first drops fall. The prophecy resolves within the same chapter — the rain spreads, the armies lower their weapons (p. 12), and Vivi declares the nightmare over (p. 15). This is the arc’s thematic capstone: the king’s intuition/faith is vindicated exactly as his engineered disgrace is washed away. Echoes and inverts the Ch. 0163 “my commands only work on people” doctrine. Worth tracking against the forward-canon Nefertari-line hidden-knowledge thread (Cobra holds the Pluton secret) — the “trust in the king” register reads differently in hindsight.
