Name meaning
**Uzuki** (雨月) = 雨 *u* 'rain' + 月 *zuki/tsuki* 'moon' → literally 'rain moon' (cf. *Ugetsu*, a moon veiled by rain — the title of Ueda Akinari's classic *Ugetsu Monogatari*, 'Tales of Moonlight and Rain'). One of the **five daimyo clans** serving the Kozuki (光月 'shining moon') shogunate; carries the **月 'moon' kanji** marking the loyal Wano houses, the mark the disgraced Kurozumi (黒炭 'black charcoal') uniquely lacks. *Uzuki* is also a **homophone of 卯月 ('rabbit moon')**, the traditional Japanese lunar-calendar name for the 4th month (April) — paralleling Shimotsuki (霜月, the 11th lunar month 'frost moon').

Lineage: one of the five daimyo clans serving the Kozuki shogunate of Wano; named on-page (silhouette) in Orochi’s origin flashback Ch. 965. Clan name only — no individual member named or clearly shown.

One of the five daimyo clans serving the Kozuki shogunate, named on-page (silhouette) in Orochi’s origin flashback (Ch. 965 p. 9): Fugetsu, Amatsuki, Uzuki, Kurozumi, Shimotsuki. Per the flashback, the daimyo clans were rivals for the childless previous shogun’s seat and targets of the Kurozumi poison plot. Only the clan name is given — no individual member is named or clearly shown.
