Freedom Fighters
Captain: Dragon · First shown: Ch. 1066 (22-years-ago Ohara-ruins flashback) · Successor: Revolutionary Army
Profile
The Freedom Fighters are the anti-World-Government group Dragon captained ~22 years ago — young Dragon is captioned “Captain, Freedom Fighters — Age 33” Ch. 1066. The proto-name of the Revolutionary Army. Dragon had invited Vegapunk to join the Freedom Fighters at Ohara’s ruins (Vegapunk declined, becoming “a government lapdog” Navy scientist instead). Galvanized by Professor Clover’s death at Ohara and the will of its scholars, Dragon resolved to build “a military force that can actually fight back,” and before that year ended the Freedom Fighters became the Revolutionary Army, joined by Kuma and Emporio Ivankov.
