A register-bin, not a serial. The 9th Limited Cover Page Series “Enel’s Great Space Mission” concluded at its FINAL VOLUME on Ch. 474 (Vol. 38 — Enel’s moon-coronation over his reactivated automata army). No successor cover serial has yet begun at the read frontier. From Ch. 475 onward the Thriller Bark battle chapters carry standalone decorative chapter title pages — themed one-off art with no recurring cover-serial caption and no “Vol. N” installment counter.
They are logged here in one place so future reader passes do not spuriously fork them into a new cover serial.
Verified one-offs (no serial caption)
| Chapter | Title | Art |
|---|---|---|
| Ch. 475 | ”Pirates of the Forest” | A themed standalone splash of a “PIRATES RADIO / GRAND LINE” station — a boar disc-jockey (“DJ 猪”), a Luffy-figure in headphones reading, and a creature at a gramophone. Decorative title illustration; no recurring cover-serial caption, no “Vol. N” counter. (p. 1) |
| Ch. 480 | ”Interception” (chapter title only — no series caption) | Image-verified against the original page: a wintry standalone splash of Tony Tony Chopper perched atop a stack of balancing penguins, the whole tower riding on the back of a polar bear, framed by Northwest-Coast-style totem poles and a leaning ladder in a snow-flecked field. Decorative title illustration only — no recurring cover-serial caption, no “Vol. N” / “K/8” installment counter. (p. 1) |
Notes
- Ch. 475 page 20 carries a near-blank page with a single inset bottom-right panel of an unidentified frightened young girl in a crown and a large bow, shivering (“SHIVER SHIVER”). This reads as a reader request-corner inset, not a cover-serial installment — the character is not identifiable from this chapter alone, and there is no serial caption or “Vol. N” counter. Logged here so it is not mis-forked into a new cover story; revisit if a later chapter identifies her.
- Ch. 477 is NOT a one-off — its title page is an explicitly numbered installment (caption “3/8”) of an 8-part title-page art series, tracked in its own note Eight-Part-Title-Page-Series-Man-and-Flying-Machine. Do not re-fork it into this bin. (Numbered serials get their own note; only un-numbered standalone title pages belong here.)
status: ongoing(open register-bin) — kept open because no successor cover serial has yet appeared at the read frontier. Re-key toconcludedif/when a new serialized cover story begins, and move its chapters to that note.
