The opener finds Franky surrounded by free-roaming cyborg animals. It runs just two installments: the Ch. 549 title page carries the banner “THE FINAL VOLUME” (“The House Where Dr. Vegapunk Was Born”), closing the strip by naming the cyborg-animal island as the birthplace of Dr. Vegapunk. Record only what each installment shows on-page; do not import where the main story will later place him.

• Cover→main bridge (pending): the cover strip has concluded on-page (“THE FINAL VOLUME” @0549), but its main-plot payoff has not yet landed at the read frontier (Impel Down / Summit War). This is a Kuma-scatter dramatization in the same mold as the No. 11 Sanji and No. 12 Robin serials — see Kuma’s Scatter Sends Each Straw Hat To A Place That Forges Them. Status is therefore concluded, not merged-into-main-plot: the caption names Dr. Vegapunk’s birthplace, but Franky’s two-year-gap whereabouts have not yet fed back into main canon.
