Makko (マッコー) is a Marine Ensign and a senior member of Hina’s death squad — the “Black Cage Corps.” He was aboard one of the ships that attacked the Straw Hat Pirates as they fled Alabasta, first appearing in Ch. 216. His name and rank (“Ensign”) were revealed in the One Piece Blue: Grand Data File databook rather than on-page in the manga.
