Why this matters
Oda’s world-building register expansion. The Ch. 103-104 install opens the creature-can-be-someone’s-home register that recurs at later inhabitable-creature locations:
- Zou (~Ch. 802+) — an elephant-island the size of a continent, with Mokomo Dukedom built across its back
- Fish-Man Island — built in/on the Eve coral / Sea-King-tier reef structures
- Various Sea-King-tier creature locations — Wano whale-tier creatures, Marineford Sea-King-tier marine fauna
The Ch. 103-104 instance is the proto-instance — a small-scale (one-doctor-and-one-whale) version of what Zou makes planetary-scale.
