Below Fish-Man Island, the giant Sea Kings prepare to destroy the falling ark Noah to spare lives and grieve over it: “We must bid farewell to the ship of promise… lives come first.” An elder apologizes directly to a long-vanished figure — “Forgive me, Joy Boy… I will be unable to fulfill the promise…” — and a younger Sea King answers its parent: “We had no choice… but to destroy Noah, father.”

Two seeds in one line: (1) Noah is “the ship of promise”, a Joy-Boy-linked vessel; (2) the Sea Kings hold a generational, inherited vow to Joy Boy — passed parent-to-child — that they have been unable to keep. The promise’s content is deliberately withheld.
