Roguetown Town of Beginning and End
The chapter installs Roguetown / Loguetown as a named on-page location and canonizes Gold Roger’s birth-and-execution co-location. The Beginning and End doublet is load-bearing.
Significance
- Roger’s life-arc is structurally symmetric (born and died at the same point), pre-loading the Joy-Boy / Luffy structural-symmetry (the series will end where it began — Romance Dawn).
- The Town of the Beginning and the End epithet bookends the Ch. 1 series-opening Roger-execution-flashback location.
- The first 95 chapters of the series have built toward arriving at the location where the series opened.
Forward-pattern
- Loguetown is the geographic threshold between East Blue and Grand Line — the next several chapters’ arc-location.
- The Beginning / End register pre-loads:
- Roger’s Wano flashback (Ch. 967) where he laughs at Laugh Tale and says “It’s not the end. The world will continue.”
- Luffy’s eventual return to Foosha — the series will end where it began.
- The structural-symmetry between Roger’s execution (Ch. 1) and Luffy’s eventual King-of-the-Pirates declaration.
