Ch. 170 — Pell arrives at Rainbase carrying Vivi in his talons (falcon-form), then transforms partly to hybrid-falconman form to engage on the ground. First on-page combat deployment of a flying Devil Fruit.
Why this matters
Combat-grammar pre-load for the rest of the Alabasta arc: Pell will be the flying-ally-cover in every key rescue (forward-canon Alubarna defense, Crocodile-vs-Cobra throne-room intervention, climactic suicide-flight to carry the explosive-bomb out of Alubarna).
