20 years ago at Ryugu, Harald and Neptune joke about betrothing Harald’s son Loki to Neptune’s foretold daughter — a “no ordinary mermaid” with “wild, disruptive powers” (a callback to Shirahoshi = Poseidon, foretold by a fortune teller “four years from now”; pp. 8-9). (Re-checked through Ch. 1189 — still pending. Imu is later shown taking note that “Neptune had a daughter” (Shirahoshi) in a Poseidon context (Ch. 1179), but no chapter revives or pays off the Harald–Neptune betrothal joke — no Loki–Ryugu / giants–merfolk tie has surfaced.)

Why this matters
An Oda-style dead-character-dialogue seed: a joke between two kings (one now deceased) that quietly pre-links the Elbaf royal line to Poseidon. If paid off, it would tie Prince Loki into the Ryugu/Poseidon endgame — a giants–merfolk alliance channel planted decades before the present day.
