The payoff
The doctrinal-inversion is the chapter’s structural payload. Krieg’s defeat will be the doctrinal-defeat: the moment Luffy proves the winner-takes-all axiom is structurally false (because the prize can be destroyed) is the moment Krieg has lost.
Why this matters
The villain-axiom-articulated → captain-counter-doctrine-staged-in-same-chapter compositional grammar is one of Oda’s signature structural moves. Cf. Krieg’s One-Piece-as-instrument-of-rule (Ch. 48) vs. Luffy’s One-Piece-as-freedom (same room). The chapter pairs the doctrines in tight composition to make the moral hierarchy legible.
