Why this matters
The cover-arc bookkeeping is structural: every cover-arc installment tracks a Ch. 1-100 unresolved-thread. The Chronicle of Toil tracks the Marine-cadet parallel-arc — Koby and Helmeppo’s training trajectory runs in parallel to Luffy’s voyage, and the two trajectories will eventually intersect at Marineford.
Forward-pattern:
- Marine-cadet parallel-arcs land their payoff at Marineford (Koby-as-trainee at the war).
