Why this matters

A prop-tell + chekhov-explicit seed: Oda hands Luffy a named, numbered, cursed blade and has him half-recognize the name on-page, deliberately invoking Zoro’s Sandai Kitetsu. The numbered grade (Excellent, one tier above Zoro’s Fine-grade Kitetsu III) telegraphs a hierarchy of cursed Kitetsu swords whose payoff a later Wano beat can develop.
