Two seeds in one beat: (a) the fake-rejection-to-protect-the-loved-one register the arc-finale inverts (Chopper does return, does see Hiriluk die); (b) the go to the sea line — Hiriluk unwittingly tells Chopper to become a pirate-doctor, and Chopper unknowingly does exactly that by joining the Straw Hats. Both are chekhov-explicit seeds that the arc-finale and the long-term Chopper-trajectory cash in turn.
