Why this matters
The small-ship-against-vast-mass splash is a recurring visual grammar for the Strawhats’ Grand-Line voyage: the world is vastly larger than the crew. Decorative but structural — the composition reinforces that Little Garden’s departure-hazard is on a continental scale and that the giants’ escort is load-bearing, not ceremonial. The scale-composition recurs at every later Grand-Line threshold where the crew’s smallness against the world is the point.
with the same characters at a structurally parallel beat (a departure under giant-escort), the second instance is doing deliberate bookend work, not just reusing a scale trick. Watch for the inversion — at Little Garden the giants point the crew past the colossal thing; at Egghead the colossal thing is the giants’ own vessel, the threat-of-scale converted into the means-of-passage. The Little Garden → Elbaf arc-pairing (Dorry & Brogy’s two on-page homes) is the semantic anchor that makes the visual echo non-coincidental.
