The seed
The payoff
(Forward — the arc’s emotional climax is Robin’s “I want to live!” cry at the Tower of Justice, which this line pre-stages from Franky’s side; Franky’s self-acceptance as the blueprint-heir resolves later in the arc. Mark confirmed + set payoff_chapter when Robin’s “I want to live!” lands on-page.)

Why this matters
A parallel-arc / explicit-thematic seed: Franky and Robin both carry “your existence is a crime” framings imposed by the World Government (Robin since Ohara; Franky as the living Pluton-blueprint heir who was supposed to have died). Oda has Franky voice the arc’s thesis on Robin’s behalf before she can voice it herself, structurally pairing the two captives and loading the rescue’s emotional climax.
