Predicted: food-waste-as-mortal-sin is the most consistent Sanji moral axiom across the entire series. Recurs in every Sanji arc, every Sanji scene with food, every Sanji backstory (especially the Zeff/starvation-rock backstory predicted Ch. 56-58).
Why this matters
Forward-payoff: the eventual Zeff-ate-his-own-leg reveal explains why Sanji holds the doctrine so absolutely — he literally was kept alive by Zeff’s flesh during a starvation episode. The doctrine is personal-experiential, not aesthetic.
Pattern marker: this is the axiom-as-combat-trigger convention. Sanji’s combat ability is backing the doctrine — the cook-fighter archetype is the enforcement mechanism for the cook-at-sea doctrine. Forward-Claude: the food-must-never-be-wasted axiom will be the combat trigger in every later Sanji arc (Whole Cake, Wano, etc.).
