The seed

Ch. 42 — page 19, panels 1-3

Johnny: “AN OCEAN-GOING RESTAURANT?!” (the destination is named.) Johnny: “Yes, please!! I’ll guide you there, if you want.” (the guide is on-page.) Yosaku: “But be careful. It’s near the Grand Line. It’s two or three days’ sailing from here. Some rough customers frequent that place.” (the spatial-bearing + threat-register are delivered.)

The Baratie destination is named, the near the Grand Line compass-bearing is given, and the rough customers threat-warning is on-page. The chapter ends with the Going Merry sailing north toward the named destination (page 19 final panel: “And so Luffy and crew set out, accompanied by Yosaku and Johnny… and sail north, bound for the oceangoing restaurant.”).

The arc-goal-declared-at-opening grammar (cf. Going Merry Setup for the Syrup Village arc instance) is fired again for the Baratie arc. The next arc’s spatial goal is named in the prior arc’s terminal chapter.
