A young Shandian woman of the Noland-flashback era — the daughter of the great warrior Calgara and the maiden bound for human sacrifice to the snake-god Kashigami, whom Mont Blanc Noland intervened to save. Noland’s medicine/intervention spares her: “End your life with that knife, Musse. You are a sacrifice for this entire village…” (p. 5). VIZ renders “Musse” (likely the French dessert “mousse,” fitting Oda’s gourmand naming pattern).

Skypiea — Relays the truth about the felled trees (Ch. 291) — flashback

• As Noland’s crew prepares to sail home, Mousse carries Mont Blanc Noland’s withheld truth to her father Calgara — too late: Noland cut the sacred Ancestor Trees because they were already infected with deadly “tree fever” and would have destroyed the whole island, and he risked his own life to do it to save the Shandians (pp. 12-14). Her relay is what finally resolves the rift in Calgara’s heart, prompting the bell-ringing vow (pp. 16-19).

Skypiea — Noland/Calgara flashback, “Full Moon” (Ch. 289)

• Reveal: the sacrificial girl is Calgara’s own daughter. Calgara to Noland: “Do you really think that even the girl you saved yesterday… was my own daughter?!” (pages 11–12) — the same child Noland’s medicine had saved the day before, now set to be burned alive in the rite the priest Pantori drives. The personal stake that fuses Calgara’s gratitude to Noland’s cure.
• Noland’s antidote (conine, from the Kona tree) works; she recovers with the village in the full-moon peace montage (pages 19–21).
