Head chef of the Vinsmoke / Germa 66 castle and a friend of Sanji. Introduced Ch. 839 (p. 5, on-page caption “HEAD CHEF COSETTE”). Kind and dutiful; her mistreatment at the hands of Niji crystallizes the moral gulf between Sanji and his birth family.

Whole Cake Island — injured aftermath; Reiju protests (Ch. 840)
- Shown injured after Niji’s beating (Niji: “if I’d known, I wouldn’t have smashed her face”); Reiju protests on her behalf, and the abuse drives Sanji’s attack on Niji.
- A childhood figure also appears in the flashback cooking for the young, ostracized Sanji (“Go on, eat up. I cooked it for you,” p. 14-15) — echoing Cosette’s kindness toward him and the dead-mother / cooking-inheritance motif. See Sanji Dead Mother Cooking Inheritance.
Whole Cake Island (Ch. 839) — introduction; abused by Niji
- First on-page appearance (p. 5) as the Germa castle’s head chef serving the Vinsmoke family dinner.
- Niji strikes her over a dish (p. 6); Sanji defends her (“you dare leave a mark… on a lady’s face?!”, p. 6) and eats the spilled food off the floor rather than let it be wasted (pp. 7-8).
- While Sanji is away, Niji beats her unconscious (p. 15), enraging Sanji and driving the chapter’s turn into the forbidden chamber.
