- When Bonney escapes Sorbet Kingdom aboard Gyogyo’s fisher crew, Alpha attacks the ship using the government’s Six Powers (Geppo/Rankyaku-style flight), claiming “authorization to use nonlethal violence” to subdue Bonney and warning that “accomplices may be eliminated” (p. 16). Conney reveals to Bonney that “Alpha and her ilk are secret agents of the government” (p. 14).

- Dispatched to Sorbet Kingdom as a Cipher Pol No. 8 agent; her CP8 unit builds “temporary housing” outside the church to surveil the town and watch over Bonney during her recovery (pp. 13–14).
